Mr. Ibrahim Sannoh is the current Minister of Youth Affairs, having been appointed in April 2025. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics and Political Science, as well as a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Sierra Leone.

With over fifteen years of experience in youth leadership, mentorship, advocacy, and administration, Mr. Sannoh has a proven track record in promoting the interests of young people in Sierra Leone. Prior to his appointment as Minister, he held several significant positions, including Deputy Executive Director of the Sierra Leone Roads Safety Authority, Executive Director of SLRSA, Director of Outreach in the Office of the Chief Minister, and Deputy Minister of Communications, Technology, and Innovation.

Mr. Sannoh’s appointment as Minister of Youth Affairs reflects President Julius Maada Bio’s commitment to empowering young people by placing them in key positions of responsibility within the government.

A proud Sierra Leonean from the Southern region, Mr. Sannoh is happily married and is a father of three. He attended Government Secondary School Bo, where he served as Senior Prefect during the 2005/2006 academic year, before continuing his education at Fourah Bay College
